San Joaquin County Arrest Records
The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s office is the first place that you would need to visit or contact if you want to request for arrest records in the county. The San Joaquin Sheriff website provides the general public the ability to check the sheriff’s activities by clicking on the Sheriff’s Activity Log. The Sheriff’s log contains the daily activities of the department as well as a brief summary of the calls or reports they received. Aside from the activity log, one can also check the Who’s in Custody link which allows the public to search for individuals that are currently in custody or pending a court appearance in the county. Indicate the arrested person’s name and click the find inmate to start your search. Do note that information obtained from the online search tool still needs to be verified and should not be if one seeks legal actions.
Information obtained using the online search tool do not mean that the arrested person was convicted. To check the latest update with an inmate, contact the Sheriff’s Department. Aside from search based on name, the online search portal also allows one to search by booking number, last name or visiting the recent bookings made by the department. San Joaquin county arrest records may also be obtained from the arresting agency that made the arrest. The Sheriff’s website also provides a booking log for those who are interested in checking out if someone they know is booked in one of the law enforcement agencies in the county.
On the other hand, those who wish to request for a copy of a crime report may also do so by contacting the Records Division of the Sheriff’s Office. Open the Sheriff’s website and fill in the Public Records Request Form. Download and print the form. Mail the request form or drop it in person at the Records Division during business hours. Don’t forget to bring a proper identification ID for the request to be processed. The request costs $10.00; however, additional charges may be added based on the size of the report.
